In the course of this workshop offered by Ida Kelarova and Dežo Duzda, we will work with our breath to explore our inner space, attempt to expand it and encounter the borders of our emotions. Backed up by unrivalled music of the Roma people, in the songs we will bring our feelings into motion, and thus develop greater strength and joy of life. Dežo and Ida will accompany on guitar and piano.
To sing from one’s deepest heart and to express one’s self in such authenticity and beauty yields cure and unity. Ida and her partner Dežo encourage us to sing from our hearts, to let the boundaries of fear fall, to open up to the beauty and breadth of our own being through our voices.
The workshop is part of the program of “Women´s Worlds”, the film festival of the human rights organisation TERRE DES FEMMES in Tübingen. Apart from the workshop we will project the film “Gilaven, Sing – Ida Kelarova” and offer a concert with both artists on 25 of November.
