Ida Kelarova is a unique and celebrated singer and voice teacher, founder of the International School for Human Voice, whose inspiration is her Czech-Roma cultural tradition. She teaches songs to reveal and heal our deepest emotions connecting to the incredible power which gets liberated when we sing from the heart.
This work uses the voice and Kelarova’s music to open ourselves to the experience of our deepest selves and the power of the soul which can shatter our conventional and inhibited personae and liberate the wild, passionate, energetic being within.
Fear and anger, sadness and despair, love and longing, all emotions are transformed through the voice into joy, a celebration of positive and creative energy, of connectedness and uniqueness.
This workshop is recommended for all performers who feel a longing for an intense, uncompromising journey into themselves and want to develop their technique.
The workshop journey takes us downwards into areas of darkness and silence, taking us out of our comfort zones to awaken the source of our instincts. Thus our deepest power, which has not been used for a long time and therefore sank into oblivion, is made accessible and finds expression through song, which comes from our very soul.
Notes: * The fee will be reduced by 10 % if the total fee is received 30 days before the studio starts. ** When participating in two or more studios, the fee will be reduced by 20 %.
